Our story begins back in 1992 with the chance meeting of a young Italian man and a home brew kit from England. This joyous encounter quickly developed into a passion for beer and brewing and led to a quest for deeper knowledge of the craft. He painstakingly refined his skills and recipes in the cellar beneath his home and made pilgrimages to some of the iconic major, minor and micro breweries of the time.
Eventually Davide was able to establish his own independent brewery on a picturesque hillside in the narrow valley of the River Senio using water from the adjacent Poggio Nero natural spring.
On entering the small building you are greeted by the sweet aroma of fermenting wort and you can breathe in the magical transformation of malt, water and hops into fresh honest beers that are ready for drinking.
